Mary Todd Lincoln 

Mary Todd Lincoln was Abraham Lincoln's wife.  She was born on December 13, 1818 in Lexington ,Kentucky and died July 16, 1882 in Springfield ,Illinois.  Her  marriage to President Lincoln lasted 22 years.  She was the First Lady from March 4, 1861 to April 15 ,1865, the day that President Lincoln was mortally wounded by an assassin in her presence.  Historians believe that Mrs. Lincoln never fully recovered from the traumatic experience.  Mary Todd had 4 boys, Eddie Lincoln, Robert Todd Lincoln, Willie Lincoln, and Tad Lincoln.  Robert Todd lived from 1843- 1926, Edward Baker lived from 1846-1850,  William Wallace lived from 1850-1862,  and Tomas "Tad" lived from 1853-1871.  Only Robert lived to marry and produce children.
